Editorial guidelines
- “Eos” is a peer-reviewed biannual journal devoted to Greek and Roman antiquity and classical tradition. It was founded in 1894 in Lwów (Lviv) by Ludwik Ćwikliński and is published by the Polish Philological Association (Societas Philologa Polonorum).
- “Eos” welcomes articles (up to 40 pp.), notes (up to 5 pp.) and reviews (up to 10 pp. or longer review articles) written in Latin, English, French, German, Italian and Spanish.
- Contributions submitted to “Eos” must not have been previously published nor be currently under consideration for publishing elsewhere (either in whole or in part, in any language).
- All articles should be accompanied by an abstract, of about 100–200 words, preferably in English.
- Please submit an anonymised electronic version of your paper in MS Office or Open Document format, and, if necessary, in PDF. It should be sent to the address eos@ptf.edu.pl or directly to the editors.
- Authors are required to adhere to the terms of the licence agreement signed with Eos upon acceptance of their article for publication. Any breach of the agreement will result in the rejection of the article for publication.
- Upon publication, authors will receive a PDF copy of their contributions, together with a complimentary printed copy of the issue of the journal.
